Enota on ACE exhibition - Sustainable Architecture across Europe!
Enota’s project Hotel Sotelia will be presented at travelling exhibition of best examples of sustainable architecture across Europe organized by Architect’s Council of Europe.
Exhibition ‘Sustainable Architecture across Europe!’ opens on 29 th November in European Parliament in Brussels. It is part of many events organized by Architect’s Council of Europe celebrating their 20 th anniversary. The exhibition in Brussels closes on 3 rd December and will later travel around Europe.

Open House Day in Wellness Orhidelia and Sotelia
First Open House Day of Slovenian architecture will happen on 13th of November. We will wait for you at 2 pm in Terme olimia, Podčetrtek.
The First Open House Day of Slovenian Architecture is organized by Chamber of Architecture and Spatial Planning of Slovenia (ZAPS) and Sklad arhitekta Jožeta Plečnika. On this day most of the projects that received one of Slovenian architectural awards - Golden Pencil or Plečnik award - in last five years will be open for public. Architects will lead visitors through buildings.

See you in Madrid at Europe 40 under 40 Exhibition and Lectures
Being one of Europe 40 under 40 for 2010 we were invited to present our work among other laureates.
Exhibition of laureates’ works will open on 4th of November at Centro de Turismo Colón in Madrid. Presentations by Europe’s 40 under 40 will be held at same place on November 6 th. Both events are part of The City and the World Madrid Symposium. Enota’s work will present Dean Lah.

Enota on 180° Stage
What's really sustainable in architecture? will be the main topic of Dean Lah's lecture on 180° Stage on October 21st at Viba film, Ljubljana.
180° Stage is part of Big Box event, new bi-annual event inside annual Month of Design. The main theme on this 180° Stage is 'What's next?'. Lecturers are invited to present their work and their views on future in 180 seconds.

Enota at Eat&Drink Design 2010
Taste the consequences of brainstorming by Lifeclass Hotels & SPA Chefs and Enota at Eat&Drink Design 2010 on 21st October at Viba Film.
The most delicious part of Big Box event is Eat&Drink Design 2010, where results of cooks and designers pairs will be displayed and eaten. The best will be awarded.

Enota is one of Europe 40 under 40
The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design announced the selection of most promising and emerging design talent in Europe for 2010.
The 'Europe 40 under 40' program was initiated by The European Centre as an annual program to spotlight and identify Europe's emerging architects and designers. Among this year's laureates are Enota's partners Dean Lah and Milan Tomac. 'Europe 40 under 40' forms an exhibition which will open on 4th of November in Madrid during 'The city and the World: Madrid Symposium'. On 6th of November laureates will present their work, among them also Enota.

Exhibition and Lecture at 4th international festival Architecture Week in Prague
Contemporary Slovene Architecture will be presented at 4th international festival of modern and contemporary architecture Architecture Week in Prague.
The exhibition Contemporary Slovene Architecture which includes Enota’s work will be held throughout festival, from 4-7th October. Exhibition will be accompanied by Andrej Hrausky’s lecture on Contemporary Slovene Architecture on Monday, 11th October 2010 at 20.00 and Dean Lah's lecture Enota - Natural Systems at 21.00 on the same day. Exhibition and lectures will take place in Národní technická knihovna, Technická 6, Praha 6.

Lecture at 9th International Architectural Workshop Übergänge 2010 in Motovun, Croatia
International architectural workshop Übergänge will take place in the beautiful surroundings of medieval Motovun in mid september.
The strong connection between architecture and Motovun already became part of the town’s own history. One of the architectural events in Motovun since 2001 is International architectural workshop Übergänge. On this years workshop Dean Lah will give lecture on Enotas approach to work on 17th September.

Enota Wins Velenje Sports Park Competition
Enota has won an open anonymous competition for new Velenje Sports Park in city of Velenje, Slovenia
Municipality of Velenje decided on open architectural competition for finding appropriate architectural solution for the area of new Velenje Sports Park. The area lies on a very important location between the city park and the lake that is already a popular recreation point of citizens and it also offers great scenery with lake, extensive greenery and beautiful hills behind. Enota won the competition with proposal that interweaves sports object and landscape arrangement in continuous open park surface enabling constant visual contact of visitors with the action on the playing grounds.

Enota Wins Ptuj Performance Center Competition
Enota has won an invited competition for renovation of a Dominican monastery in Ptuj, Slovenia.
The city of Ptuj has been chosen as a partner city of European Capital of Culture 2012, which is a great opportunity for a change and an upgrade of a cultural infrastructure. Renovation of the dominican monastery and its surroundings into a congress and performance center is a part of a future extensive city revitalisation.
Enota’s proposal has won the first prize.

Member of CE-ZA-AR 2010 Award Jury
Enota’s partner architect Dean Lah is a member of this year’s jury for Prize of the Slovak Chamber of architects.
The Prize of the Slovak Chamber of Architects for architecture CEZAAR is awarded annually on the anniversary of the Slovak Chamber of Architects. The awards are proposed for outstanding professional performance – realized architectural works that contribute to the enrichment of material culture in Slovakia. Fist Jury session will take place on June 25th 2010 in Bratislava.

Enota at the »Sweaty Symposium«
Experimentally based symposium took place within the Austrian Days of Architecture 2010.
Austrian Days of Architecture are celebrating their fifth anniversary and are taking place all over Austria on May 28th and 29th. An extensive programme offers wide-ranging opportunities to experience architecture close up, to discover the new and to understand the unusual. Enota's partner architect Dean Lah's lecture at the »Schwitezendes Symposium« took place in Thermal Römerbad in Bad Kleinkirchen on Friday, May 28th.

Enota’s Natural Systems in DESSA
Enota’s exhibition »Natural Systems« will be presented in architectural gallery DESSA in Ljubljana.
Exhibition »Natural Systems« is a selection of twelve projects from recent years. Six built and six yet unbuilt projects differ in scale, programme and are set in different environments. The selection gives an overview of Enota’s work and illustrates how consistent, innovative approach in project development leads toward diversity of architectural solutions. Exhibitions in DESSA gallery opens on Monday, May 24th and will be open until June 24th 2010.

WildWildEast in Munich
Enota's work is presented at the WildWildEast exibition.
After the gallery in Hamburg, AIT has opened a new ArchitekturSalon in Munich. Opening exhibition WildWildEast is presenting completed projects of East European architect’s under the age of 40. The exhibition will be opened until June 8th 2010.

Member of 2010 Architecture Grand Prix Jury
Enota’s partner architect Milan Tomac is a member of this year’s Czech national architecture award jury.
The Architecture Grand Prix, a Czech national architecture award, is a competitive exhibition of architectural works completed in the previous year, annually held by the Society of Czech Architects together with the Czech Chamber of Architects. The international jury consisting of Martin Holub, Jiri Klokocka, Zoran Michalcak, Jan Wilhem Neutelings and Milan Tomac will be meeting from May 12th to 16th 2010 in Prague.

A Visit from 50 Future Architects
We were visited by 50 students from Faculty of Civil Architecture of Politecnico di Milano.
Students of Laboratorio degli Interni subject, lectured by architect Paolo Mazzoleni from BEMaa office, spend a weekend visiting contemporary Slovene architectural highlights. They have also visited our office and had a tour of Jurčkova housing.

Exhibition and Lecture at 15th Biennial of Macedonian Architecture in Skopje (BIMAS)
Contemporary Slovenian architecture will be presented within the 15th BIMAS.
Main partner country of the 15th Biennial of Macedonian Architecture, which will take place in Skopje Museum From March 24th to April 13th 2010, is Slovenia. Enota’s work will be introduced at the ‘Contemporary Slovene Architecture 1999-2010’ exhibition, curated by Andrej Harusky and Maja Ivanič. The exhibition will be accompanied by Dean Lah’s lecture on Enota’s work, on Wednesday, March 31th 2010, in Museum of Contemporary Arts in Skopje at 8 p.m.

Presentation at the Contractworld
Wellness Orhidelia will be presented at the Contractworld.award in Hannover, Germany.
Wellness Orhidelia project is shortlisted for the Contractworld.award 2010, international architectural prize for innovative interior design concepts. It has been nominated for the best Spa/Hotel/Catering facilities in the New generation category, for architects under 40 years. Presentation by Dean Lah will be held at the Domotex Hannover on Sunday, January 17th, at 13.00 in Hall 4.

Enota Wins Two Golden Pencils
Wellness Orhidelia and Gruškovje border shop both won a Golden pencil 2009 for the best architectural creation.
Chamber of Architecture and Spatial Planning of Slovenia (ZAPS) awarded its yearly awards. The jury consisting of Petra Čeferin, Hans Ibelings (president of the jury), Tom Kovač and Robert Schäfer awarded Golden Pencil to Enota for Gruškovje border shop and to Enota in collaboration with Bruto landscape architects for Wellness Orhidelia.

Lecture at Dublin School of Architecture
Enota will be lecturing at the Dublin School of Architecture in December 3rd 2009.
Dean Lah will be presenting Enota’s recent work in a lecture entitled Natural Systems on December 3rd at 6.30 pm at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). He will also review a selected number of students work the following day.

Wellness Orhidelia shortlisted for the Contractworld.award
Enota is a part of the Shortlist in the “New generation”- category of Contractworld.award 2010.
Wellness Orhidelia has been nominated for the Contractworld.award 2010 in the category “New generation - Hotels”. A presentation of the project will be hold in Hannover on January 17th 2010.

Enota at the Wild Wild East exibition
Completed projects of East European architect under the age of 40 will be exhibited in Hamburg.
Enota's work will be exibited as a part of the 'Wild Wild East' exhibition, which will be taking place at the gallery of the architecture magazine AIT “AIT Architektur Salon Hamburg”. Exibition will be at display from September 23rd until November 12th 2009.

Enota presenting in Barcelona
Shorlisted project Wellness Orhidelia will be presented in the 'Holiday' category.
Enota's partner architects, Dean Lah and Milan Tomac, will be presenting Wellness Orhidelia project at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona, Spain. Presentation will be held in the Centro de Convenciones Internacionales de Barcelona on Novembre 4th at 14.00.
